Our Parish School

St. Didacus School Mission Statement

St. Didacus educates each child; with a goal to foster a community of Catholics devoted to a life of learning, global awareness, and the love of Christ.  We believe the mind is for knowledge, the heart is for loving, all within the body created to love, and serve our Lord, Jesus Christ.

St. Didacus School has been providing a quality Catholic education to the Northeast San Fernando Valley for over fifty years.  We are a community of faith that strives to challenge and empower our students through critical thinking and application.  We desire for our students to be living examples of Christ’s message of love and acceptance as well as active members of the Church.

Ms. K. Gonzales, Principal of St. Didacus School

I am Krishana Gonzales the Principal of St. Didacus School and my journey at St, Didacus began in September of 2001. I have worked at St. Didacus for the past 13 years. I began as the Sixth grade homeroom teacher and went on to teach both the Eight and Seventh grade homerooms. I was also the Junior High Social Studies teacher before leaving the classroom in 2013 to be a full time Vice Principal and Principal in 2014.

I am proud to be the product of Catholic school education, I attended St. John Baptist de La Salle, which is also my parish, and Bishop Alemany High School. I received my B.A. from Cal State Northridge and I am currently finishing my M.S. at Mount St. Mary`s University.

I have a large family and enjoy spending time with them. I consider the families at St. Didacus my second family therefore I enjoy our school community events as well as being apart of our faith community. It has been my pleasure to serve the community of St. Didacus. It is a true joy and a blessing to serve as the head of our school community.
