Requirments/ Requicitos
REQUIREMENTS FOR QUINCEAÑERAS.
1.-The quinceañera`s family must live in Sylmar, be registered in the Parish, and use the Sunday’s envelopes regularly.
2.-Have received the sacrament of Holy Communion.
3. - If she is confirmed, bring proof, if not confirmed, she must be registered and attending the current year class. (Even if she have been Confirm as a baby, she will be required to register and attend the Confirmation classes in order to receive the preparation for this sacrament, she will not be confirm again but will receive a special blessing from the Bishop)
4. - She must attend a preparation class for the ceremony, with her parents and God Parents. The dates for the class will be announced in the Sunday’s bulletin two weeks before the class date. (Please check the Sunday’s bulletin regularly)
5.- NO ESCORTS.! They can attend mass as a guest, and seat with their own family. They are not permitted to escort the girls in or out of the mass. Her Escort of Honor (Chamberlain) is the only one that will participate.
If you live in Sylmar, are registered in the church, and use the envelopes regularly, and if you meet all of the requirements, and wish to have your Mass at this parish, you must call the church office to make an appointment to reserve your Mass date with the Priest.
The church donation, including the coordinator, is $325.00 and will not include music or flowers; we will give you some suggestions but the family makes their own arraignments and the contract. It is optional to give the priest a gratuity after the Mass.

REQUISITOS PARA SOLICITAR SU MISA DE QUINCEAÑERA EN
1.-Vivir en Sylmar y pertenecer a la parroquia, estar registrados y estar usando los sobres dominicales en forma regular.
2.-Haber hecho la primera comunión y traer prueba.
3.-Estar registrada y asistiendo a las clases de Confirmación aquí en St. Didacus. Si fue confirmada cuando era pequeña, deberá traer prueba. Aun cuando haya sido confirmada deberá estar registrada y asistiendo a las clases aquí en St. Didacus. No habrá excepciones, solamente las quinceañeras de esta parroquia, que cumplan con los requisitos, podrán solicitar su misa.
4.-Asistir a la clase de preparación de la misa, una vez que tienen su fecha junto con sus padres y sus padrinos de honor, en las fechas que se anuncian en el boletín de la iglesia.(Por favor, lean el boletín cada domingo para los diferentes avisos)
5.-NO LLEVARA CHAMBELANES. Si acaso tiene la participación de chambelanes, ellos pueden estar en la iglesia como cualquier otro invitado, pero no entran ni salen con las damas. Solamente el chambelán de honor podrá participar.
6.-Si al haber leído los requisitos y si es que califican, y aun desean tener su misa aquí en St. Didacus, deberán comunicarse a la oficina de la iglesia para hacer su cita con el padre y decidir la fecha que desean. Para más información, comuníquese con Lupe Lomeli al telefono (818) 367-6181 de 8:00 a.m. las 12:30 p.m. y de 1:30 p.m. a 4:00 p.m. de lunes a viernes. La oficina esta cerrada de 12:30 a 1:30 p.m. puede dejar mensaje.
7.-La donación sugerida para la iglesia incluyendo la coordinación es de $325.00.00 dólares pero no incluye música ni flores. Se les darán nombres y sugerencias de músicos y florerías, pero ustedes harán la decisión y el contrato con ellos. La iglesia no se encarga de eso. Al sacerdote pueden darle una donación personal después de la misa o dejarla el dia de la practica
8.-Al tener su cita con el sacerdote para decidir la fecha de su misa, deberán dejar un depósito de $ 50.00 dólares para reservarla, pero no se les regresara si ustedes cancelan la misa. (Si por alguna razón cancelan, hagan el favor de avisar a la oficina.)
